Install Device Software Update - Arlo Go Pro | Arlofirmwareupdate.com

While the firmware update is running, do not disconnect your camera, open the battery door, or remove the battery. It may be harmed if you do so.

All connected Arlo devices receive firmware updates automatically.

To minimize camera downtime, automatic updates occur between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.

If the firmware upgrade is significant, you may not be able to stream from your camera until the update is completed.

You can either wait for the automatic update or manually update using the procedures below:

  • Use your smartphone to launch the Arlo app, or use a browser to visit to the admin site and log in.

Note: https://arlo.netgear.com/ is the website's URL.

Note: Internet Explorer 10 or later, Microsoft Edge, Firefox 3.5 or later, Safari 3 or later, and Chrome are all supported browsers (latest version).

Note: The Arlo app may be downloaded from both the Google Play and Apple App stores.

  • Tap or select Settings from the top menu (upper-right, to the right of Mode).
  • Select the proper camera by tapping or clicking it.

It's worth noting that multiple cameras may appear.

  • Device Info can be accessed by tapping or clicking on it.

Note It may be necessary to scroll to the bottom.

  • Firmware can be tapped or clicked.
  • Update can be tapped or clicked.

It's worth noting that the camera's LED blinks blue and amber. While the firmware is downloading and installing, it will blink blue and amber.

Note Allow for a few minutes for the process to finish.
