· Wait till the system updates completely. Wait for the power LED of the Arlo base station or SmartHub to turn green because it indicates firmware downloading and installing. The power LED will turn amber as the base station or SmartHub is installed completely. Then start to reboot. Wait for Power and Internet LEDs to turn green which indicatesa complete update of firmware.

After the completion of firmware installment, the camera will reboot. And the LED will automatically switch off for about 1-2 minutes. The camera starts to sync to the base station or SmartHub and the LED begins to flash rapidly in blue color after the update finishes.
Note: Do not disturb the updating process. You need to update every camera that you wish to update.
How to update Arlo Q, Q Plus, or GO manually:
· Launch the Arlo app or log in to the web page with a mobile phone or computer.
· Press in the Settings.
· Then tap on My Devices.
· Tap on the camera that you want to update manually.
· Then press on Device info.
· Go to Firmware.
· Click on Update.
· Wait till the system updates completely. Let the firmware download and install. This is indicated by the camera LED that blinks amber and blue. After the completion of the firmware installment, the camera will reboot. And the LED will turn off. As a LED lights again without any pattern formed the camera is available to use.
Note: Do not disturb the downloading and updating process. You need to update every camera that you wish to update. And due to the customized setting, you may turn off the LED, due to which the LED might not blink and still show that the update firmware is going on.
